Cottage Information
Rental Season July & August.
Cost$1000 / week.
Capacity6 people.
GeneralA perfect cottage for a family with 2-4 children, A prime beach side location with a beautiful view of the river and mountains from the main room.
KitchenThe kitchen has been recently renovated and is well stocked. It features an electric stove/oven, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. A propane BBQ and picnic table are on the beach side of the cottage (propane provided).
BathroomThree piece bathroom featuring a bathtub/shower.
BedroomsThere are three bedrooms. The master suite has a king-size bed. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and the third bedroom has a bunk bed (2 singles). Please note that the wall dividing the second and third bedroom does not extend into the loft space. Renters are required to provide their own linen.
RecreationSpruce has two canoes, one large and one small. There are a number of life-jackets for your use, but we do not have life-jackets for all sizes of children. If you are bringing children, please consider bringing life-jackets for them.
Non-SmokingSmoking is not allowed inside the cottage. Please dispose of cigarette butts responsibly if smoking outside.

FAQ

  • Is the water safe to drink? The tap water, both in the kitchen and bathroom, is safe to drink. It is from a well, it is tested regularly, and it tastes wonderful.
  • Is there internet at North Star? For internet access we recommend the Laurentian Hills Public Library (on the highway, 500m west of North Star Rd) or the Deep River Public Library (55 Ridge Rd, Deep River).
